Fabrini Crisci
Fabrini Crisci, (59) is a São Paulo native who studied Fine Arts at the Ecole d'art Villiers in Paris. Renowned contemporary illustrator, he has contributed to prestigious international magazines such as: Magic magazine, Genii Magazine (USA), L'illusioniste (France).
In his teens, after becoming enchanted by a series of illusions, he decided that he would have the power to evoke emotions in people. He then became a famous magician who conquered the world, obtaining great recognition.
In 1992, he won the Golden Lion Award in Las Vegas, In 1995, in Paris, he won the double Golden Mandrake. Visited the Royal Family of England to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in London! His career as a visual artist runs parallel to that of the stage, he exhibited in Vienna, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Berlin, Moscow, Monte Carlo, for example. And it was in Monaco that Prince Albert II was enchanted by his work, and chose his art to be a commemorative stamp in the Principality of Monaco, issued by the Office des Stamps.
Fabrini Crisci has a consolidated career as a painter, exhibiting his paintings in the most important galleries in the world as an authorial artist differentiated from contemporary art.
“I am fascinated by the universe of freak shows, cabinets of curiosities and cabarets of the 30s and 40s. The elements and characters belonging to this world have their peculiarities, seduction and beauty.”
He believes that behind the dark, there is an explosion of feelings, whether retained or not, that when felt, understood and understood, lead us to the fascination of opposites that paradoxically completes us, because they are also part of the human essence.
