Lívia Doreto
Livia Doreto, Paulistana (39) is a visual artist whose artworks have been exhibited nationally and internationally (Liechtenstein and USA). He has works in private collections both in Brazil and Europe. She was awarded TOP OF MIND BRASIL as Outstanding Artist of the Year. He participated in important exhibitions, CASACOR. Through his vivid artworks, he expresses feelings that arise from the subconscious, particularly his emotions.
Livia also participates along with other renowned artists in the eighth Hall of Arts (2023) (Liechtenstein). Lívia Doreto's works of art are not just there to be seen. They constitute an invitation to expand perceptions. More than a refined technique, there is a sensitivity in the way they construct the dynamics of the gesture. This leads to a visual construction in which the woman's hair or the horse's mane establish their own universes. The charm comes from the way the plastic liberty is made. There is sensuality and dedication in the images, which also associate symbolic elements, such as butterflies, indices of renewal and transformation, and eyes, traditionally associated with expressions of the soul. The specific insertion of color makes each image a creator of subjective consciousness in the observer. This means that what is created is not only a technical exercise of materials on a support, but rather expresses a personal cosmology, that is, a specific ordering of the world.
Whatever the chosen theme, Livia Doreto's works encourage us to delve deeper into states of mind that generate poetic developments that distance us from the everyday universe. We thus move to a subtle atmosphere, permeated by the movement of lines and the construction of a poetic, light and delicate symbolic dimension.
“I am an impatient and hyperactive person, but through art I try to discover patience and tranquility.”
