Paolo Palacios Salas

Born in Lima, Peru in 1982, he studied at the “Macedonio de la Torre” Public Artistic Training School of Fine Arts in the City of Trujillo-Peru, graduating in 2015.
He has been interested in art since childhood. His unique large-scale paintings feature abstract figures and landscapes. He works mainly with oil, mixed media and acrylic on canvas, impressionist and figurative.
His paintings were exhibited in countries such as Peru or Mexico.

There is a delicacy in the way Paolo Palacios approaches shapes and colors. His main characteristic, within an impressionist vision, is to present his themes in a way that creates an atmosphere in which there is a permanent invitation to the observer to a subtle immersion in his work.
Landscapes and women are the protagonists of scenes full of mystery. It is a silent painting that, much more than presenting the so-called reality, creates perceptions of the world. This means that each image is an autonomous creative process that leads us to question everyday life as a place of permanence and stability.
His painting establishes a longer time. Each painting is a subtle provocation in the search to create imaginary narratives from the visible. The work speaks to the world, but, at the same time, opens possibilities for interpretation by establishing silent and sacred atmospheres.
The figuration is built in layers that point to readings in which chromatic fields play an important role. There is feeling and technique in them. It is a visual result that generates emotions, since it is the result of a permanent process of research into pictorial processes and a search for constant improvement.
